Another women had a peace sign that read “only Mousavi”. She felt that what she was doing for her country was more important than going home and making supper for her children. She said, “What I am doing is more important for their future.” At one point, some people told her that she might be beaten for speaking so openly, and she said,”Let them beat me. My country is going to waste-what am I worth in comparison?” Right at that moment, it seemed that a Basiji charged at her and was prepared to strike her… and then another miracle took place. A group of men got out of their cars, tackled the man, and started beating him! they were defending her!
That shows just how far our world had come and how far Iran as come to respecting and protecting our women of today. If everyone were to stand up and fight for what and who they believe in this world would be a diffrent place.
Its not the larger people in our country who will get the job done. It is the little people.
Women and Men can begin the movement of Compassion.
If we don’t start today, when will we ever? This isn’t hard. It just begins with forgiveness.
Forgive yourself, forgive those men who have hurt you, forgive everyone for all though they have done you wrong; Anger only sets us back and not moving forward.
The first road to the compassion movement… Forgiveness.
