Q: What are your thoughts about 9/11?
Leila Khaled: l don’t agree with the murder of civilians, wherever it is in the world.
Q: Could you be described as a terrorist?
Leila: Our enemies say so. Our enemies call any form of popular resistance terrorism
Q: What you did was an act of terrorism.
Leila: Who decides and define what terrorism is? As far as I’m concerned, occupation is terrorism. My people and I have a right to fight it. I don’t care what others call it. People have a right. People have a right to fight those who occupy their country by all means possible including weapons. That’s what it says in the UN declaration.
Q: But Leila, if you look up ”terrorist” in a dictionary…
Leila: You, the whole of Sweden and Europe and the USA can travel to Haifa. But l can’t, l’m not allowed to. Not just me. 5 million Palestinians can’t see Palestine. lsrael doesn’t care about international law. Why should we accept that? What have we done to deserve this? We have suffered a lot. Why is what l did wrong? lsn’t it our right to resist? When we hijacked the planes the whole world wondered who we were. Regardless of what they thought about it, they wondered. But when we were tortured in lsraeli prisons, who heard our screams? We had to do what we did in order to get your attention. Our people suffered injustice. No sound person accepts that! No one.— Leila Khaled: Hijacker (2006), documentary directed by Swedish-Palestinian filmmaker Lina Makboul → watch here

It has come to my attention that people are still having issues with the fact that people of the same sex want to get married. Lets get real all you Christians out there! Gay Marriage is someones right to let their love known to the whole world. Yes, some people are just content with the idea of being together but some want something more. Something more REAL to them. If straight people are allowed to get married then what makes gays any different. Even is treating gay marriage like such a sin. There’s alot MORE sin out in the world then this and I think this is not even a problem that should be dealt with by the government. Freedom of choice people! I use to be christian when I believed that the principles of the religion was pure a just. I love god but I will not be in a religion where people are so quick to judge and so easy to mold. I am not bashing faith, I use to be a very religious person. Just here me out here, they call this a sin. A wrong that shouldn’t be done. But all people should have the right to love, marry, and make love. I know many gays who are christian or have some faith and it makes it hard for them because of the fact that they have to deal with how people act towards them and towards others. We are all the same! We are all human! Our choice of orientation does not make us diguesting or un-worthy. God made us all as you say. If god did not want gays to get married or have sex. He would not have created them, would not have created people who would help them get the rights that they need. Even though the Pope has given his views on Gay Marriage he has married a few gays. Even the priests preech strongly against Gays THEY HAVE DONE MANY GAY ACTS! Do not judge because you don’t understand. It is offensive and now one will like you because of it. I am bisexual. And I will love myself to the end.
Don’t you love those movies when women are made out to be the most powerful person. They win the hearts of the men around them and use their abilities to stay calm, strong, and collective the whole time.
Women are amazing. They can see what they want and take it, all they have to do is try.
So,shouldn’t you try?
